The balancing changes and introduction of new weapons in the Season 3 update of Call of Duty Warzone 2 has made significant changes to the meta. One of the major changes is the return of the one-shot sniper rifles in the game. According to the patch notes, all bolt-action weapons equipped with Explosive Ammunition can take down fully armored players in a single shot to the head.
There are only three sniper rifles which can land a killing blow. Let’s have a look at these super snipers.
Best Snipers in Warzone 2 Season 3
There are only three snipers who make it the one-shot category. However, they are very different and players will have to choose one based on their personal preferences. Keep in mind that you need to aim for the head for these to work as a one shot killing machine.
FJX Imperium
The FJX Imperium is one of the new weapons in Call of Duty. It has the highest rate of fire among the other snipers on this list, coming in at 375. However, that’s not the only reason it is on top of our list. The FJX has the least amount of bullet drop when compared to other sniper rifles, giving it an immense advantage when taking down long-range targets.
MCPR-300
The MCPR-300 got a brilliant buff in the Season 3 update. The weapon now takes Explosive Ammunition as a new attachment, making it a one-shot killer. Although the MCPR-300 lacks the fire rate of FJX, it fires 10 rounds before reloading, which balances things out.
Victus XMR
The Victus XMR is the worst out of these three. It has a subpar fire rate and very heavy bullet drop at long ranges. However, XMR qualifies as a sniper rifle which can one-shot players. If you want to use it for some reason, it can get the job done.
