Every Blood Type and Benefits Explained in V Rising

Blood Types in V Rising are an excellent, easy, and ultimately unavoidable way to gain advantages in-game. You’re a vampire. You need blood to survive. You drain the blood of your enemies to gain their powers, right? Absolutely!

They are an interesting way to customize your character to fit your playstyle as well. Do you like to run in, sword-swinging, health be damned? Brute or Creature (or Warrior) might be good for you. Would you rather hang back and sling destructive spells from a reasonably safe distance? Some good Scholar blood will do nicely. Do you strive to become one with the night and strike your unsuspecting foes from the shadows? You need Rogue blood.

Below is a list of all the Blood Types found in V Rising and the bonuses that you gain from them. Obviously, a higher percentage Blood Type will give you higher tier benefits.

Be on the lookout for high blood percentages. Once you’ve progressed far enough in the game, you learn how to build Prison Cells and can make prisoners of humans. This allows you to keep a good blood source around instead of constantly hunting for them. You do have to take care of them, like a vampire version of a Tamagotchi. Keep them fed and happy and you can drain blood from them whenever you need to and carry it around with you.

There you have it, a quick rundown of Blood Types and how to utilize them. Happy hunting!
