Fortnite PlayStation Cup October 2022: $230k Prize Pool, Qualifiers & more

Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite PlayStation Cup for October 2022.

Gamers on PS4 and PS5 consoles can compete for a share of $230,200 this Halloween. With the Fortnitemares event well underway, there’s nothing spooky about this prize.

Fortnite PlayStation Cup October 2022 schedule

If you want to earn the big bucks, you’ll first need to qualify for Finals. Check out all the key dates below:

Qualifier 1: October 20

Qualifier 2: October 25

Finals: October 27

There are no gimmicks this time around! The game mode is Battle Royale Solos and only the top 50 players in each qualifier will earn a space in Finals.

Format & Scoring

Both qualifiers will last 3 hours with players able to complete up to 10 matches, earning points for eliminations and placement. Finals will pit the 100 best players against each other for 6 matches in a set lobby.

Victory Royale: 30 points
2nd: 25 points
3rd: 22 points
4th: 20 points
5th: 19 points
6th: 17 points
7th: 16 points
8th: 15 points
9th: 14 points
10th: 13 points
11th - 15th: 11 points
16th - 20th: 9 point
21st - 25th: 7 points
26th - 30th: 5 points
31st - 35th: 4 points
36th - 40th: 3 points
41st - 50th: 2 points
51st - 75th: 1 point

Each Elimination: 1 point (2 points in Finals)

Entry requirements

There’s no minimum Arena rank needed to enter this tournament. Just enable Two-Factor Authentication and check that your account is at least level 50 via the Career tab in-game.
